The garden is finally turfed!

After a year and a bit living here, our garden finally has a lawn!

Possibly I should wait until the lawn has taken root, but I can prematurely credit the Turf Shop for delivering our pallet load of good turf. It took me a few hours to set the lawn down, plus the lots-of-weekends spent preparing the ground in advance. phew! It is quite satisfying to do lawning yourself though, especially when it would cost lots to have someone else do it. Next stop – the patio!
