The first entry was my welcome entry on the 28th December 2001 and was, strangely enough, about turkey. No, not Turkey the country, just plain old turkey. Turkey sandwiches in fact. And now, five years later, we also have way too much turkey, and would be eating sandwiches had the meat not been frozen and stored away for use in curries. yes.

Other events from 2001 included –

The September 11th twin towers attack.
Here we go - 1. Hey, baby, what’s your sign? Do you think it fits you pretty well? Virgo. Sometimes it matches well, other times I’m more like my Chinese sign, the dragon. 2.
1. Hey, baby, what’s your sign? Do you think it fits you pretty well? Virgo. Sometimes it matches well, other times I’m more like my Chinese sign, the dragon.

2. What’s the worst birthday gift you’ve ever received? All gifts are good, always. Even cheap plastic and metal spring grippy hand things.

3. What’s the best birthday gift you’ve ever received? All gifts are good. Send me stuff.

4. What’s the best way you’ve celebrated your birthday thus far? The best ones are those that I don’t remember, or those that I’ve spent with a girlfriend not doing much

5. What are your plans for this weekend? I’ll be finishing my OU TMA. Arrg.

1. What was the first thing you ever cooked?

I can’t remember, because my childhood memories are all way too vague. I *guess* it must have been a boiled egg. Most people must start with something like that? yesno?

2. What’s your signature dish?

Do I have one? Probably not really. If I did it would probably be chillie con carne. (It’s easy to do, see.)

3. Ever had a cooking disaster? (tasted like crap, didn’t work, etc.) Describe.

I’ve rarely had anything that was a disaster. Mostly the stuff that I do turns out because I spend bloody ages doing it.

4. If skill and money were no object, what would make for your dream meal?

A dream meal? Is there such a thing? For me a dream meal would be a mixture of flavours that meant you could carry on eating the meal for as long as you wanted and not get bored eating it. I’m not sure what would be in it.

5. What are you doing this weekend?

Nothing. There’s a party on in Liverpool but I really can’t be bothered with the 2 hour drive. Euck.
