Today is picture day 1. Obviously there is no mould growth yet, as the bread is still fresh. The brown area is just dark breadcrumbs and not mould yet. That is why it says "not mould" next to the brown bit…

As a hint, for the best mould on your bread don’t let the bread dry out. So don’t keep your experiment next to a radiator or anything hot.
