Snap Happy Hippos
Today’s cheap plastic stuff is snap happy hippos. You can’t fool me, this is what used to be advertised as Hungry Hippos except smaller and with only two hippos instead of four. The basic idea is you let all the balls go into the centre and then mash down on your hippo’s lever so the mouth opens up and eats as many balls as possible. It’s great fun. Unfortunately in this one the yellow hippo is broken so the mouth just moves out and does not open up. This means that yellow can never catch any balls. Which is nice if you like an unfair game but is otherwise useless. I give this item 6 out of 10, assuming that every other one has a working yellow hippo. 0 out of 10 otherwise. All this for the price of 1 pound.
