A somewhat processional Chinese Grand Prix was taken by Vettel, followed by Webber then Button, to give Red Bull racing their first Grand Prix win, and a race one-two finish.
Vettel led for most of a pretty wet race, with Button taking the lead only for brief moments. After all the diffuser fuss, the team without the split-level diffuser was the victor.
You have to feel a bit sorry for Force India’s Sutil, who came oh-so-close to securing the team’s first points, but unluckily hit some standing water five laps to the end and spun, hiting the wall in a fairly dramatic looking crash.
The race means that Button still leads the Championship, but the gap is closing.
