An amusing article comes from BBC news where a judge in New Zealand has made a girl a ward of court so that her name can be changed from Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii, which she understandably hates. Some of the other names in the article which have been blocked - and not blocked - are also quite amusing. It is quite bonkers what some parents come up with these days.

It’s not often I would link to a Daily Mail story, but I noticed this one on serialdeviant.org(y) where a man was branded a peado for taking photos of his own children on a slide ride. All I can say is oh-my-freaking-god. What are we actually coming to? I’d love to be able to say that I’m shocked by it, but, really, I’m not. I almost expect it. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already. I suspect in fact that it has, but the Mail wasn’t around at the time to report on it. God this sort of stuff annoys me.

Today there is TV news that William Petersen is to leave CSI next season. This is not entirely unexpected, being as it was already known that he was going to be taking a back seat. Apparently key characters like Sara and Lady heather will be making a return as part of his leaving story. I expect that could go two ways, they could make some fabulous episodes, or really annoy a lot of watchers. Or both, I guess! Still, interesting either way. I like CSI, it will be good to see how it evolves as there has been a lot of change recently.

In other news, I heard that Final Fantasy 13 was no longer going to be a PS3 exclusive, appearing on the x-box too. And, well, that’s about all for now.
