Monkey See

But the customs guys didn’t see the monkey. Because the monkey was cunningly hidden under a hat as a chap boarded a plane from Peru to New York. The somewhat worrying aspect is that the flight went via Florida, and at no point until the last stage of the journey did anyone know about the monkey. And that was just because it came out and sat on the man’s ponytail. Not a brilliant advert for security. Presumably we can take whatever we like on planes so long as it’s not metal, and we can fit it under a hat.

In other strangeness, boffins have produced a tool to fix bad photos. Looking at the example, the results were impressive for sure, but you have to ask, if you’re just going to re-create the photo based on others, what’s the point in taking snaps at all? May as well just skip that boring, complicated bit of setting a photo, checking the light, making the shot and just pick the best bits out of the currently existing shots out there on the web and use that. lawks.

No idea what I should have for my birthday. I’m lacking inspiration!
