Apparently this year’s US word of the year is "Plutoed". If you are plutoed it means that you are about to be demoted or devalued [news.bbc.co.uk], as what happened to poor old Pluto this year when it was downgraded from a real planet.

In other news, this weekend saw the first Deal or No Deal 250000 jackpot being won [news.bbc.co.uk]. It was quite fun to watch

It is now the year 2007. How inexplicable! Somehow we have managed to squeeze our way through another year. I hope that the year 2006 was good for you all.

There were a few celebrations [news.bbc.co.uk], but, unfortunately, many celebrations planned in the UK were cancelled because of poor weather [www.bbc.co.uk]. What are you going to do eh?
