This is my attempt at (last week’s) photo friday challenge, which was Disguised. Here we can see Geoffrey the Giraffe disguised as a computer geek using a laptop

Here’s a strange Java Sand Game [chir.ag] that you can while away some time with. You basically mix up fire, water, sand, oil and trees and make pictures and stuff. You can make the yellow thing grow with water or shrink with salt, or just turn it off by selecting vanish in the menu.

It’s fairly addictive…

I find it a little ridiculous that people think it is acceptable to go ahead and burn places down in protest against a cartoon [news.bbc.co.uk].

Yeah, it was a poor taste cartoon that people should have thought twice about before printing or showing. But come on folk, let’s get some perspective here.

It’s also terribly ironic that a cartoon is slammed because it depicts a violent image of a religion, and then the claiming to stand up for that religion respond to it with, well, violence.
