BBC Licence fee to stay
The BBC licence fee is to stick around for another ten years [news.bbc.co.uk]. The government green paper recommends the changing of the board of governers into two seperate entities, but keeps the licence fee as the fairest way of funding the BBC that they could come up with.
Meanwhile, the Southerners have had to call in the army to help them out with the snow down in Kent [news.bbc.co.uk]. I dunno. Northerners seem to manage with a bit of snow, but as soon as it creeps down south they have to call in the army. How typical :p
