Merry Christmas

Saturday, December 24th, 2005

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a great time and that santa brings you whatever you want, if you want for anything :)

Remember to give good will, and, if you do get into an argument, don’t do what this woman did, and swallow your mobile phone [news.bbc.co.uk]. Because, really, that’s just not clever… ;)

Photo Friday : Depth Of Field

Saturday, December 17th, 2005

It’s been a while, but time to get back to doing the weekly Photo Friday challenge [www.photofriday.com]. This week’s challenge is Depth Of Field, so I’ve chosen to use this photo of a Christmas bauble, which is (mostly) in pretty good focus with the tree blurred out behind. As usual, click on the image for the larger version.

RIP Richard Pryor

Sunday, December 11th, 2005

Comedian Richard Pryor has died in hospital in LA, aged 65. He leaves behind a legacy of many comic performances, and inspiration to other artists. There was a funny guy, who sadly had been struggling against MS for the past twenty years.

In other events, some kind of explosion seems to have affected a fuel depot in South England [news.bbc.co.uk] and here last night in South Yorkshire my little village sounded like a riot had broken out as their were alarms going off all over the place. Not sure what that was yet….

Feet

Sunday, September 25th, 2005

I have just noticed that my right foot is a lot more wobbly than the left foot.

Why is my left foor not wobbly?

If you shake your legs from side to side (whilst in a seat for example) is one of your feet wobbly and the other not? Or are they both not wobbly or both wobbly?

Hmm.
