Film Review - Sky Captain and the World Of Tomorrow

I liked this film. It was entertaining and the effects were very impressive. Considering this was shot almost entirely in blue-screen, it was difficult in many places to tell where the animation replaced reality. The comic-book style of the graphics helped this along, I’m sure, but still, pretty good.

It has its amusing and its corny moments, and enough of a plot to see the film through to the end. To me, this film seems like a prime canditate for converstion to a video game, and, indeed, if you go to www.skycaptain.com [www.skycaptain.com] then there is a downloadable game there (though I’m surprised there is no full priced release version.)…

Worth a look, if only for the ooos and ahhs at the crunchy special effects.

Sky Captin Good? the acting in it was gobshite, that there floozy wench, the paltrow bint, as wooden as noahs ark. The florist from camberwell green had more acting presence.

Hmm might have something there for the paltrow bint, a live action camberwell green extraviganser.
