Thirteen going on Thirty is something like a version of Big for the 2000 generation, with a female lead instead of a male one.
Jenna (Jennifer Garner) is your average 13 year old (apparently) who just wants to be one of the popular kids. When her party goes all wrong, a wish of hers to be 30 is granted, and she grows big overnight.
Then cue the trials of being a 30 year old, and the comedy ensues. Along with the sorting out her true love, of course.
It’s actually all right. I fairly enjoyed it, though it was insanely predicatable.
6/10.
