Film Review - Dear Frankie
In this Scottish film, a young boy who writes letters to his father he believes is away on a ship experiences being with his dad for the first time as his ship comes in to dock.
Of course, it’s not quite that simple. Really, his mum has been replying to his letters all the boy’s life, his real father having never seen them. How can she solve the dilemna? Will his mother have to let her emotional guard down to solve the problem?
Emotionally interesting stuff. I’d go see it when it comes into release if you can find it. Yes. 4/5.
