It’s very sensible

Film Review - Around The World In 80 Days

This is a comedy with Steve Coogan as Phileas Fogg and Jackie Chan as his assisstant Passepartout attempting to cross the globe in 80 days.

Of course it can’t be that simple, Chan is trying to save his village by returning a Jade Budda, but others are determined to prevent him, and to prevent Fogg from completing his trip on time.

So, naturally, Chan’s skills will come in handy to fight off the bad guys.

I think this film is everything you could expect from the bringing together of Chan and Coogan. A seemingly odd paring they work quite well and it’s very funny in places.

3 out of 5 for this.
