Some of the recent happenings…
Gunman kills five colleagues [news.bbc.co.uk] at the Lockheed Martin plant in Mississippi USA. He then turned the gun on himself. There seems on first investigation to be no reason behind the random killings.
The two conjoined twins that were going through a seperation operation have both died [news.bbc.co.uk]. The prospects of successful completion were only 50%, and it was their wish to go through with it knowing this, but it is nonetheless a sad occurance.
New technology is still foreign to many people [news.bbc.co.uk] with only 3% of people taking this test [www2.amd.com] coming up with a perfect score. (I am one of those 3%, but, then, being a techy geek that is not entirely surprising.) I wonder how that percentage shifts depending on the demographic that is taking the test?
