Friday Five and stuff

Saturday, June 28th, 2003

Went off to Cadbury world today for a friend’s birthday. Most amusing and you get free chocolate and stuff and you get to spend lots of cash on other chocolate related items in the shop. I shall do the Friday Five [fridayfive.org], as I haven’t for a while and I have not got my Photo Friday photo ready yet.

1. How are you planning to spend the summer [winter]?

Not got much of a plan really. Work, then a bit of a break from work in which I will go to CCDE. That will be it mostly.

2. What was your first summer job?

I don’t remember. It was probably doing customer service stuff.

3. If you could go anywhere this summer [winter], where would you go?

New Zealand I think, like to get back there and see more of it.

4. What was your worst vacation ever?

I have not had a worst vacation, all vacations are good.

5. What was your best vacation ever?

All of them :D Or, my round the world thingy, can’t get much better than that.

Roads

This guy caused me to spend a long time going into town once [news.bbc.co.uk]. I remember it happening. Heh.

About Time [news.bbc.co.uk]. So many stupid people drive down the middle of the motorway on their mobile phones completely oblivious to the other traffic around them. Still, it would be better to have a law banning completely stupid wankers from driving at all.

Photo Friday : Critters

Sunday, June 22nd, 2003

This week’s photo friday is critters [news.bbc.co.uk]. This gives me an excuse to post a picture of our very own critter, our cat. He’s pretty old now. Soon I expect he will be moving on to whatever cats move on too after they die. :|

He’s been lovely :)

Girl marries dog

Sunday, June 22nd, 2003

In other news [story.news.yahoo.com] an Eastern Indian girl has been married to a dog to ward off evil. I hope the dog’s family don’t object too much to the marriage, as they would have trouble interrupting the ceremony, what with people not being able to understand them and everything. :D

Harry Potter [news.bbc.co.uk] is ridiculously over hyped. There’s even a tv interview with the author on BBC2 now and so many shops are just full of Harry Potter stuff. WHSmiths has been taking pre-orders for months. It seems a bit mad.

Beer [news.bbc.co.uk].

Moo [news.bbc.co.uk].
