This week’s photo friday is critters [news.bbc.co.uk]. This gives me an excuse to post a picture of our very own critter, our cat. He’s pretty old now. Soon I expect he will be moving on to whatever cats move on too after they die. He’s been lovely

Girl marries dog

In other news [story.news.yahoo.com] an Eastern Indian girl has been married to a dog to ward off evil. I hope the dog’s family don’t object too much to the marriage, as they would have trouble interrupting the ceremony, what with people not being able to understand them and everything.

Harry Potter [news.bbc.co.uk] is ridiculously over hyped. There’s even a tv interview with the author on BBC2 now and so many shops are just full of Harry Potter stuff. WHSmiths has been taking pre-orders for months. It seems a bit mad. Beer [news.bbc.co.uk]. Moo [news.bbc.co.uk].
