I’m still not updating as much as I would like. I spent all of today moving things around the house and didn’t get any of the stuff I wanted to do done. What would you do if it was your last chance to do anything?
It’s Saddam’s last chance to disarm [news.bbc.co.uk]. Something of a ridiculous concept as he could have already disarmed, or could never have had any arms in the first place, and either way he wouldn’t be able to show this lack of things. So it’s the Iraqis last chance to prove the impossible before they get bombed. Hmm.
Yes. I’m finally mooved to Sheffield. Things are almost in the right place. I have the computer in its own room and a proper bed and stuff. Luxury. Teehee. I should now be able to do updates to the blog again, and cheap plastic stuff hopefully.
Let’s start with the Friday Five [fridayfive.org].
1. What is your most prized material possession?
Umm I dunno. My computer or car or house or something.
2. What item, that you currently own, have you had the longest?
Probably something like the micky mouse tee-shirt I’ve had in my draw since I was about five for some reason.
3. Are you a packrat?
I don’t know what a packrat is?
4. Do you prefer a spic-and-span clean house? Or is some clutter necessary to avoid the appearance of a museum?
Clutter is unavoidable, never mind necessary.
5. Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there?
Yeah they all currently have the theme of "not quite moved in yet"
Sorry for the lack of updates lately as I move house. I’m almost starting to be settled now so I might be able to update more often by the mid or end of the week. Normal service will be resumed then, if there is such a thing as normal where I’m concerned.
..Huge anti-war protest day! lots of people are expected to join a huge march and rally against war in Iraq [news.bbc.co.uk] that is taking place in the capital today. I expect there will be pictures all over the place later as the inevitable police presence locks horns with the “violent faction” of the protestors and one or two mcdonalds are destroyed. Such protests are uniformly predicatble really.
And by 7 peeemm, we can read all about it [news.bbc.co.uk]. It was peaceful, apparently, bucking my earlier observation that it’d all end it arrests and broken things. Lots of people. Estimates from 750000-2 million. Biggest ever political demonstration in Britain.
