Mr Mist’s Blog

It’s very sensible

Musical

Set it all to music, maybe it’s better that way.

  • Korea

Both Russia and Japan have joined the general condemnation of North Korea’s latest Nuclear wrangling [news.bbc.co.uk]. Russia and Japan have only slow diplomatic relations between them, so it is perhaps interesting to see how they both react to the events in North Korea. Korea will probably restart weapons testing [news.bbc.co.uk]. Although they have now said they don’t intend to make more nuclear weapons [news.bbc.co.uk].

  • Iraq

In Iraq, the HMS Ark Royal is due to set sail for the region [news.bbc.co.uk]. Officially on exercise, the move neatly puts the fleet where it can be useful against Iraq. Is it just me, or do most point of war take place convieniently close to where the fleets are due to be going for "training"? I’m sure it’s the same every time there’s a war.
