Hmm
Sunday, November 17th, 2002I found a few minutes to make an entry. Iraq is stuck in a difficult position. Even as the inspectors prepare to go in [news.bbc.co.uk] Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz was on the teevee this morning saying how they [Iraq] will go along with the resolution but that that doesn’t stop the agression from the US. I have to broadly agree with that, I think. It doesn’t seem to make much difference what happens, the underlying message still seems to be that Iraq (Saddam) is bad and must be attacked. And I’m disturbed by that a bit, really.
Meanwhile back on home soil, three people have been charged under the terrorism act [news.bbc.co.uk] but noone seems to know exactly why. The government are denying that they were planning to release gas onto the tube network. It’s all most odd.
