I can’t help it
I just find this [news.bbc.co.uk] wierd. I can’t quite get my head around Iraq having to present evidence that it doesn’t have something. That would be like asking me to prove that I don’t have a ferrari, or something. I mean, I could show that I don’t have a ferrari in my driveway, but how would I ever prove that, somewhere, I don’t have a ferrari. I can’t. So I don’t quite understand how Iraq is meant to. Or is that the point? [end cynical mode]

I agree with the Iraq post (however old it may be). Even as an American & a NY’er (we are supposed to be “pro- war on terrorism - esp. considering I have lived cross the street from the shit (WTC) for years now) I cannot comprehend the need for the United States (hate the word “america” — far too egotistical) and Great Britain to enter into a situation where they have no business, and to attempt to prove things that are not there, esp. when combined, the power to destroy the world lay greatly within the US’s and G. B.’s narrow grasp.
