woooooo

It’s Ridiculously windy [news.bbc.co.uk]. Half of the fence here has blown down. Bits of stuff are flying everywhere. I got an offer accepted yesterday on a house in Sheffield. Yaay. Now the really tedious bit begins. Arrggg. Good luck to me.

Strikes off

The first set of firefighter strikes that were planned for next week have been cancelled [news.bbc.co.uk]. The hope is that progress can be made towards a resolution in the pay issue before the next set of strikes, but they will go ahead unless something is sorted out first.
