Either that or someone at Diners Club was spying on him, laughing hysterically, recording the whole thing on his mobile phone and showing all his mates! They still haven't paid back what they nicked after nearly a year, so I am going to sue them for damages for the embarrassment as well as for the money they owe me. Yes, it was mildly embarrassing, but it wasn't worth making a big fuss over! There was nothing wrong with the card in the end, just a system problem.
