Somehow, someone’s rant about self install ADSL [news.bbc.co.uk] made it into the BBC news front page. Who is it, I wonder? I also wonder if BT will ever be made to listen to the countless numbers of people demanding their exhanges are upgraded to allow ADSL, when they keep harping on about “lack of demand”.
The driver of the coach that was involved in an accident in France earlier this week may be charged with manslaughter [news.bbc.co.uk] over the death of one of the girls. This is always a possibility under French law which encourages criminal investigations. He says he swerved when he noticed he was on the wrong road, and he didn’t fall asleep, though why the thing turned over is anyone’s guess.
