It’s very sensible

Today

Today it’s Sunday already. I’ve been pretty busy lately. Well, technically I’ve been messing around driving back and forth up and down the country trying to get a house sorted out. I think I have found one now, I have to wait to here from the letting people. It’s so ridiculous the amount of stuff I’ve had to do to get this one applied for. Anyway.

Friday Five [fridayfive.org] (on Sunday) :

1. Do you live in a house, an apartment or a condo? I live in a house.

2. Do you rent or own? At the moment I’m with my parents but once I get my move sorted I will be renting. Next week I guess.

3. Does anyone else live with you? Mum, dad, gran and the cat. Though next week it will be me me me.

4. How many times have you moved in your life? Probably about 10 times or so.

5. What are your plans for this weekend? The weekend has gone now. I spent it looking at houses and travelling along the motorway.

Another big earthquake hit Iran [news.bbc.co.uk] this weekend and the latest suggestions are that over 200 people were killed. Again we’re mainly dealing with simplistic housing that just can’t stand that sort of thing. International aid offers have not been taken up.

Forest Fires are raging [news.bbc.co.uk] in Arizona, USA. Homes have been evacuated and firefighters are trying to prevent two large fires melding into one huge one.

Meanwhile, at a wedding in Pakistan, a mortar shell was loaded upside-down into a weapon killing 21 people at a wedding [news.bbc.co.uk]. Weapons are traditionally fired in celebration at such events, but in this case a mistake was made and the celebrations took a rather unfortunate turn.
