Mutant!
Scientists have managed to re-program some skin cells to behave as nerve cells [news.bbc.co.uk]. This has not previously been thought possible, believing that stem cells are the only ones that can do it. But no. So this opens up the possibility of new treatments for many things, which is good.
That’s actually pretty interesting! I didn’t think anything like that was possible…
