Today’s cheap plastic stuff is :
The beast fighter falconbot. This superb plastic achievement was again found at the bargain price of one uk pound. Click on the link as usual for the image. The falconbot makes no reference to transformers, but that’s basically what you’ve got here, except with less technical advancement. Essentially it’s a mechanical man in a helmet that comes off to make a breastplate. The legs then fold underneath to make the bird instead. It has a sword that doubles as a tail, and somehow you can make the top into a shield, but I’ve yet to figure out how it’s supposed to attach to the arm. You can see it in the picture next to the man version’s leg. Measurements come in at 10 or around 4 cm depending on the style that the robot-bird thing is in at the time. Plastics are quality but lets face it up against a transformer dinosaur this is going to lose big time. But then transformers cost around 15 quid or something and this was only 1 pound.
