Morning. Tech tv has this article about the Cactus Data Shield CD copy protection system. Apparently a lot of DVD roms ignore it completely. Ho-hum. This I find amusing as I can’t think of many things more pointless than attempting to copy protect an audio cd. All this will achieve is to possibly annoy serious copiers for a few minutes until they find a way around it, whilst severly affecting the ability of the layman to play their cds in the manner that they prefer.

Birds ‘missing’ after US bombing is actually an old story I think, but fairly interesting. I imagine they will come back eventually?

I’m looking for a printer as mine has stopped working. It was quite old and slow anyway. The original favourite was the Canon S630, but now the S500 has entered the running. I may purchase one later.

Hello. In today’s news there is not a lot. The indian situation is much as it was last night click here for the latest, or here for a story about the Taj Mahal, which is apparently going to be covered in dark cloths in case of bombing raids. This I find rather odd. In local news, I’ve done absolutely nothing. I watched that film Spawn on channel 5 last night, right waste of sleeping time that was. Pah. Today or tomorrow I need to finish off my assignment for my OU course that I’m doing.

I think I am now up to stage 0.5 of the plan to make the page better. You can now choose between two styles, blueish and purpley. I intend to add more as I go on. If you have a preference for the type of colours you would like to see please let me know, and I will try to create a style for your comfort and pleasure. The next stage is probably to alter the whole page layout. Might take a bit longer that bit, I probably have to read more php stuff for that. Meanwhile in the news it seems that the Pakistani PM is willing to meet with India to stem the flow of bad things happening.
